Miss German-America of Philadelphia 2019

The time of year for us to begin our search for the next “Miss German-America of Philadelphia” is here!

We are looking for young women between the ages of 20-26 to represent our community at various German-American events, to reign over our Philadelphia Steuben Parade, and to represent us at the Steuben Parade in New York City.

The three finalists will receive scholarship money in addition to other prizes.

Won’t you please help us in our search? Kindly review the attached application and other important documents, and pass them along to anyone who might make the perfect candidate!

Cornflower Court

The Association would like to introduce its Cornflower Court for 2019. Congratulations to Miss German America of Philadelphia, Miss Shelby Lynn Reed and Princess, Miss Sarah Gilgenast! The new Court will begin representing our Association and the Philadelphia region for the coming year.

Please join us in thanking our outgoing Court, Miss German America of Philadelphia, Miss Paxton Beck; 1st Princess, Miss Janine Krause; and 2nd Princess, Miss Rachel Warner for their service during the past year.

Sommerfest

The Association would like to thank everyone that attended this year's Sommerfest and made it success. As you should be aware, the Association has been trying a number of changes over the past few years. We would appreciate your feedback to help us determine the direction of this event in the coming years.

2019 Steuben Parade Gala Banquet

In 2016, we themed the Steuben Parade Gala Banquet as "A Celebration of our People". Now in 2019, we are honored to announce with pride that this year's theme will be "A Celebration of our Friendships". We all have friends within our clubs, we have friends from fellow local clubs, and we have friends from a greater community of German-Americans across this great nation. We now invite all of you to come and celebrate those friendships at our Gala Parade Banquet on September 28!
