International Friendly

Under a nice warm July evening, at Talen Energy Stadium, we were able to enjoy the International Friendly between the Philadelphia Union and Eintracht Frankfurt. Werner Fricker posted after the game, "A sincere thanks to all who supported the Philadelphia Union last night, I was very proud of the groups who came together to entertain and celebrate our culture, music and dance!"

The Philadelphia Union went on to win the match 1-0. For full game details, click on the Game Recap button below.

Season's Greetings

The Franklinville-Schwarzwald Männerchor will be performing as part of the National Christmas Tree Music Program in Washington DC, across the street from the White House on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 7:00PM. The Franklinville-Schwarzwald Männerchor is honored and excited to be a part of this program, which is run by the National Park Service. They will be singing traditional German and English Christmas carols. They will not be there for the initial lighting of the tree, but instead will be one of the groups which provide entertainment for the many visitors who come to visit the tree during a two week period prior to Christmas. The National Christmas Tree is a real, live tree which has an interesting history.

As we enter this Holiday Season, the Association wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
