The Blasorchester TV Jahn Bokum received guests from the USA to celebrate its 100th Birthday. When the Krefelders stay in Pennsylvania to attend the Steuben Parade, they stay with host families. These host familes are now visiting here. Yesterday the Americans were welcomed at  city hall.

BOCKUM: The Blasorchester TV Jahn Bockum celebrates its 100 birthday this year.To celebrate this occasion, the musicians invited their friends from Philadelphia to the "Silk City". When the Krefelders stay in Pennsylvania to attend the Steuben Parade, they stay with host families. Now these American familes are visiting their German friends. Among the guests from the USA are Mayor George McClockey, Mayor of Norwood, Philadelphia, and Mrs. Carol Ebinger, Band Chairlady of the Steuben Parade. This past Friday, these visitors were greeted by Mayor Gregor Kathstede. The Americans will be guests in Krefeld until October 29. In addition they plan on  taking day trips to Kempen and Xanten.
