Celebrate the heritage of German-Americans with Music, Dance, Food and Fun for the entire Family!  Local German-American groups will provide entertainment throughout the day.

Traditional German music will be provided throughout the day by the Windjammers.  Entertainment will be provided by the:

  • GTV Almrausch Schuhplattlers

  • UGH Schuhplattlers

  • Vereinigung Erzgebirge Kindergruppe

  • Vereinigung der Donauschwaben Kindergruppe

  • The United Singers of Philadelphia and Vicinity

The highlight of the day will be the crowning of the
Steuben Day Observance Association of Philadelphia and Vicinity's
2003 - 2004 Cornflower Queen and her Court.

Tickets

Advance tickets may be purchase at any of the local Philadelphia German-American organizations for $3.00. Tickets purchased at the gate on German Day will cost $4.00.  The admission ticket to German Day will also include chances to win Door Prizes at the Fest.  Children under the age of twelve can enter for free.

The proceeds from German Day benefit the German-American Steuben Parade which will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2003.
