It is only right an proper that the man General
Washington called "indispensable" to the American
Revolutionary War effort be remembered each year
with a parade by his fellow German - Americans,
as well as many guests from Germany.

The Association hopes to
see you at its 39th Annual German-American
Steuben Parade of Philadelphia scheduled for September
26, 2009.
This year's German Day celebration
is scheduled for June 28, 2009 on the grounds of the United
German Hungarian Club. Further information will be available
shortly on our German
Day website. The Miss German-America of Philadelphia
Competition is now underway.
Thanks to our Bands Chairlady,
Carol Ebinger, our Association was represented at the 100th
anniversary celebration of the founding of the Blasorchester
TVJahn Bockum. The Association has a special relationship
with this group as it has participated in numerous parades
and comes from Krefeld, Germany, where the founding families
of Germantown, now a section of Philadelphia, originated.
