English Boarding School in Berlin

An IB Boarding High School: A completely new opportunity for international education at the Berlin Brandenburg International School (BBIS) in Kleinmachnow, Germany

Continue your English language education and learn German, too!

Instead of missing a year of high school in order to learn a foreign language abroad, our new boarding school offers talented young people the chance to learn European foreign languages while continuing their English language education in the respected and rigorous International Baccalaureate program.

For about €29,000 per year 9-12th grade students may live in our refurbished boarding facility and attend our established IB high school. The boarding students experience help learning German and especially talented students can also learn French or Spanish.

Berlin Brandenburg International School in fall 2007

In our newly renovated boarding facility about 10 to 15 students will live in single, double, and triple rooms with regular cleaning, sheet, and towel service. Each furnished room will have a private WC/Shower. The housing complex includes a private courtyard, large common room, kitchen, laundry room and apartments for live-in mentors. Wireless internet access, international phone capabilities, and a television in the common room will keep the boarding students well connected and informed.

We are interested in getting the word out! If you could help us or would like to learn more about our exciting new global living community, simply let us know!
